I love Sundays. Going to church and being with my friends learning and growing more in my spiritual life. It's so rejuvenating and encouraging! How about you? Do you have a church that you are a part of? Do you know Jesus as your Savior? More than anything that we can put on our outside bodies, we can put on God's armor of protection if He is our Lord. I can't tell you how much joy and peace having a relationship with Jesus brings.
Recently, I attended a conference of well-known speaker and author Priscilla Shirer. Her book,
Fervent, addresses the need to have on God's armor. She writes in her book, "Because unless our whole ensemble (our clothing) is framed around this undergarment (
Truth about who God says that we are) we're not really suited for daily spiritual battle." Awesome reminder to me!
So, before you put on your cute outfit this week, spend time in God's Word and dress yourself to be ready for whatever life may throw at you. I promise a life with Jesus is so worth it! Blessings to you this week!
